Small school sports has advantages and disadvantages.
Because of the number of students in the schools in the Coast-Valley League, only three CIF sports are offered for boys and girls, one sport in each of the three seasons.
But students who participate in those sports get more individual coaching and more game time than they would ever hope to receive in a bigger school.
Therefore, students' skills improve quickly and significantly, which actually improves the chance for college scholarships.
Below is a list of sports that can be played at NCCS
depending on the number of students available to make a team.
Fall: Football, Volleyball
Winter: Basketball (boys and girls)
Spring: Baseball, Softball
